Harry Brook loves batting at Headingley

There were 31 sixes in the Hundred match between Sunrisers Leeds and London Spirit last Tuesday at Headingley. Harry Brook made an astonishing 15-ball fifty. Sunrisers broke the record for the highest score ever made in the competition (241.) Spirit’s reply wasn’t too shabby either (204-6.) If any more evidence were needed it confirms Headingley as the best pitch in the country. So this is the Analyst’s official venue index for 2026. As some of the stats below illustrate – for instance the highest strike rate of any pitch in The Hundred – Headingley has become the new bowler’s graveyard.
