Sir Clive Lloyd and I sat for a while at Lord’s last week during the World Test Championship final looking back over that dramatic World Cup final in 1975, the impact it had on his team and cricket in general, the catalyst for over a decade of dominance for that star-studded West Indian squad. But though Lloyd played a brilliant innings, it wasn’t all plain sailing for his team on the day - as you’ll see.
