Yes

That is also by Guha.

Indian Summers by John Weight is also good.

His account of his coaching days with the Indian Cricket team from 2001-05.

I really want to read an account of Duncan Fletcher's time as an English coach and Indian coach. Don't know if he has written something or there is an biographical account of it available.

Even Steve Waugh's Out of my Comfort Zone is good.

I also read Gideon's autobiography of Wasim Akram, "Sultan" and found it really insightful and fascinating.

I really enjoyed a lot of hard yakka and have another of yours, And God created Cricket, in my loo library. It is the perfect book to dip in and out of if one is weighed down with matters of great import in the wee hoose.

I live in Northern Canada so I can't just pop to the local bookstore to indulge my cricketing desires. I have been hunting across the internet for the various collections of the the works of John Arlott. He is a lovely writer I first read in Arlott and Trueman on Cricket, a book that was in the library of the town I grew up in, back in South Africa, many years ago.

After that pleasant task I may continue down the road of the great cricket writers, Cardus, Swanton and CLR James spring to mind, along with your next book, and if you have a suggestion or two of other writers that would be lovely

Thanks Kevin lovely to hear from you. I think Gideon Haigh's On Warne is brilliant, really captures the theatrical brilliance of Warne. My other favourite is Mike Brearley's The Art of Captaincy, which is 40 years old now but still relevant. How do you hear about this Substack

I heard ayou and t'other Simon talk about it on your Boa Constrictor podcast. As an aside, I do hope they leave ben Stokes out of the white ball captaincy fray. He has enough to do this year.
